Best Beauty Tips For WOMEN

Whether you are in your early twenties or in your late 60s every woman wants to have great skin and look good when putting on make-up, maybe you don’t but I do, great skin is always a confidence booster. Some of you may not agree but I feel nice when I look in the mirror and I see how great my Skin is, and so today I decided to give you the best Beauty tips for women.

First all you have to really know your skin type, do you have oily skin, normal skin or combination skin, from there you will be able to know how to really look after your skin. I have written an article about my skincare routine and you can click here to read it.

So today I am really talking about what really works and what has worked for me when it comes to skin and makeup. For skincare first and foremost is my diet which includes fruits and vegetables. This for me has been my number thing that has really paid me well.

Here is a list of my BEAUTY Tips.

1. Know Your Skin type.

You really have to know your skin before you can go on buying skincare products to improve your skin. Or if you have skin issues.  Don’t just go on buying skincare products before knowing your skin type and doing a research.

2. Cleanse

Cleansing your face should be a part of your routine, I cleanse my face twice every day and I use natural based cleansers and most of my products are from Yves Rocher, I have oily sensitive skin, and have tried almost every products out there until I was introduced to Yves Rocher, their products and make-up are all natural based.

3. Exfoliating

This is a must, I have always been a fan of exfoliating,  I got sick for sometime and stopped exfoliating only to wake up one day,  look in the mirror and saw dark spots all over my face and I could not believe what was happening, I started researching and watching skincare tips from YouTube videos and came cross a Sephora Artist who explained how dark spots are formed and I agree with him a hundred percent. Exfoliating is a very essential skincare routine.

4. Water! Water!

I cannot emphasize the importance of drinking water, When I did a 10-day detox, I was drinking 1 liter of water diluted with the detox Juice, the amazing results I saw in just 3 days made me realize how important water is to your skin, I saw my dark spots clearing in Just 3 days, I am still amazed at the result and my guess is water had a very important part to play. I have now embarked on drinking 1 liter of water throughout the day, every day.

5. Masks

This is something new to me but I love the results I am getting, also with this I am using very gentle natural based masks by Yves Rocher and I will soon been writing a review about the masks I am using but this is very beneficial to your skin.

6. Fruits and Vegetables

This to me is my number one skincare treatment I mean me, this has proved to work miracles for me, I grow up in Africa and our house had mango trees and guava trees, my late mum also used to garden and we had from carrots, strawberries, tomatoes and onions, you name it,  but I am just a lover of fresh fruits and fresh vegetables. I just love a good bowl of salads. If you saw me and I asked me  how old I am? I know it would be very difficult for you to guess my age and I strongly believe this paid me very well when it comes to skin.

Having mentioned the above tips, this is how I do my daily routine, cleanse, toner, serums, moisturizer, then I go on to my makeup Primer, foundation, concealers, Powders and Bronzers. So if you are fair with yourself these are a lot of products to put on the face, so you might want to find a day or two where you just let your skin breath especially when you are at home, just cleanse and moisturizer your face and don’t put on any makeup but that is your choice. I do that all the time.

And lastly never ever go to sleep with your makeup on, always incorporate a night routine for your skin and you will be amazed at the results.

  1. Thank you for all of the great skin care advice. I do most of these things.I should do facial masks more often.I am amazed how many women don’t bother to wash there face before they go to bed and sleep with their make up on. I have started using unrefined coconut oil instead of a commercial body lotion.It has done wonders for my skin.

  2. Thanks for these amazing tips.
    Based on your your article I definitely need to up my skin care. I do drink lots of water, consume fruits and vegetables and I do cleanse my face twice daily. But I’ve never used a mask nor do I exfoliate. I do get break outs from time to time so I think I’ll try exfoliating.
    How often do you exfoliate? Twice daily?

  3. Thanks for a great reminder of how we should be looking after our skin! It’s all too easy to forget some of the points you make sometimes.

    I religiously take all my make-up off before bed each night and use a night cream. I started doing this 10 years ago and people often think I’m 10 years younger than I am so it does make me wonder whether there is a connection! 😉

      Yes there is a connection, I asked someone to guess my age, I am 45 years old and she said I Was 30, I have always looked after my skin, when I told her how old I Was she Was very surprised.
